Your Life at St. Mike’s
Are you interested in playing live music or becoming a DJ? Always wanted to hear a talk by a Nobel Prize Winner, or try your hand at alpine skiing? Dreamed of going sea kayaking in Scotland, taking a service trip to New Orleans, or even running for student office? How about driving a fire truck and saving lives? With so many on and off-campus opportunities, St. Mike’s is an environment equipped to help you cultivate your passions, find new ones, and challenge yourself beyond the academic sphere.
There is never a dull moment at St. Mike’s! When our students aren’t in class, studying, or researching with their professors, you’ll find them lining up for concerts at Turtle Underground, rock climbing in Bolton, representing their fellow classmates in our active Student Government, playing lacrosse or field hockey, heading down to the Flynn Center to see a Broadway musical, and so much more.
While many of the activities at St. Mike’s simply give students a breather after a long day or week of studies, others work to provide experiences that will prepare them for life after graduation. With options to become a wilderness guide through our Adventure Sports Center leadership training programs, gain hands-on experience as an EMT or first responder through Fire and Rescue, or test out your journalism skills by writing for our campus newspaper, St. Mike’s invites students to explore opportunities, gain experience, and open doors to their futures.
Some say having more things to do leads to happiness. Here’s what makes students at St. Mike’s so happy.
